With a plate (foxed) of a fragment of an ancient map from the time of Elizabeth I. Some scattered light foxing in the text. Old half crimson morocco (rubbed), marbled paper sides, gilt on deep blue decorative endpapers. With the circular book label of Basset Down House Library on upper paste-down. A good copy.
