The Middlesex and London Domesday - pp viii, [ii], 58 and folios 126-131v in translation,  notes on the preliminary folios bound up with Great Domesday Book, folios i-iv blank, A-O verso. Pp [xiv] and facsimile folios 126-131 and preliminary folios i-iv, A-H and o. With two folded maps in pocket. Half cream cloth, papered sides, gilt titling and contained in the publisher's red cloth clamshell box, complete with cover board. A bright fresh copy. Only 1,000 copies produced of which this is number 259. The introduction to Middlesex Domesday is by T. G. Pindar, London by G. H. Martin and the Hundreds and Wapentakes by F. R. Thorn. The work is dedicated to Her Majesty the Queen. Contibutors to the general volume of this very handsome edition include H. C. Darby, Barbara F. Harvey, G. H. Martin and Elizabeth M. Hallam.
