Slim elephant 8vo., pp 56, issued without half-title and with a handsome lithographic frontispiece featuring views of Brockley Hill, Bentley Priory, Latimer's Elm, Abbey St. Albans, Mon[umen]t to Casivelaunus [sic], Pynnacles and Bart. Willoughby's Tomb by P. Gauci after a drawing by H.H.T. Handsome lithographic plates of the churches of Edgware and Whitchurch, Old Stanmore Church, Harrow and Oxey [sic] Chapel, Bushey and Aldenham, Elstree Church, Hadley and Barnet and Totteridge and Shenley. There is a little intermittent foxing but the plates are generally in very good condition. Old grained cloth, rubbed on edges, gilt spine title. Engraved circular armorial bookplate of A. D. D. Hopkyns, F.S.A. A good copy of the scarce original printing.
